What is the need for this program?

We're living longer -- due to advances in medicine -- but this same health care system is unable to adequately care for the aging population it creates. 

Whether in hospitals, nursing homes, or home delivered care, we deserve proper care and treatment. Instead, abuse and neglect are commonly experienced today.

As a result, federal, state, and local governments are mandating increased training to eradicate incompetent and ill-trained personnel.

The problem remains. Where are these badly needed -- properly trained -- health care professionals going to come from?
