Constance
Mallinson is an internationally recognized artist whose paintings are
represented in the collections of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art,
Bank of America, and Chase Manhattan Bank.
Her large scale,
oil on canvas works use a "painted collage" technique in which
hundreds of diverse scenes and images are seamlessly knitted
together to form an expansive and kalaidoscopic landscape.
Critic
Christopher Knight has said of her, "The ecstatic cacaphonies that
are Mallinson's picturesque views transform the landscape into a living
field of interactive discovery." Her landscapes are truly of and for
the information age.
